A Message From John Nay
It’s human nature to quickly adapt. This has served us well. During dark times, personally (sick loved ones) and globally (wars), we recalibrate to mentally survive. Similarly, with dramatic advances in our living standards and technological breakthroughs, we’ve nonchalantly kept going without skipping much of a beat.
Here’s a thought experiment. It’s 2022, pre-ChatGPT—put yourself mentally there now—and someone tells you that you can have unlimited access to a system that can read, write, reason, plan, code, analyze images, parse dense scientific texts, generate entire product strategies, converse across hundreds of languages, and act as a tireless collaborator that remembers context and adapts to your style. You would think this person was insane, but that’s what we have in 2025.
Digital intelligence was born, and life goes on. Disruption of society and business takes time, but there is no way that bottled up digital intelligence does not lead to broader transformation in the coming years.
The Central Park AI Forum is part celebration of the development of powerful AI and part strategy session on where to go from here.
